Würzburg is often where a visitor decides to start their tour of the Romantic Road route through southern Germany – and it is a fine introduction to the trip. The city itself is set in a beautiful hilly location near a river. It possesses a wealth of history and plays host to a UNESCO World Heritage site.
We took part in the implementation of the new office building Harlekin, which is located at the town’s entrance. The company Alu Alprem has planned, produced, and installed all aluminum-glass elements. All elements have first been theoretically planned and based on these plans later on also constructed. A special requirement for this project was a soundproofing value of 41 dB. Due to the weight of the glass, the installation required the use of a glass lifting device.
