Letalnica bratov Gorišek is one of the two largest hills for ski flying in the world and the biggest of eight hills located at the Planica Nordic Centre, Slovenia. With a total of 28 world records set, it is the world-leading ski jump hill in this statistic.
We installed curved insulated glass in the vertical terrace glazing. Inside the terrace, we built in a fire-resistant walk-on glass (EI60), from which you can see into the building – into the wind tunnel. The Structural-Glazing façade with integrated doors is part of the ventilated façade. Above the doors, we installed a smoke and heat extraction system. At the building entrance, with the indoor cross-country skiing course, we installed an aluminum façade cladding. At the indoor stairs, we built fire-resistant doors and aluminum wall cladding.
