Ricola began in 1930 as a small bakery in Laufen, just outside Basel. Under Richterich, the bakery specialized in confectionery such as “Fünfermocken,” a sweet similar to caramel. For Ricola, the world-famous producer of herb drops from Switzerland, we built aluminum joinery and façade glazing for their new office building.
Due to the distance, the entire construction – including the smallest details – was planned at our production site in Kamnik. The most demanding elements were assembled and tested in Kamnik, and later on, disassembled and delivered to Switzerland. In the end, the client thanked us for our fast and competent work.
