A new small holiday village was built along the upper course of the Soča River, near Bovec. A series of holiday houses and a service facility are located on the outskirts of the village of Čezsoča.
The modernly designed wooden cottages open to the north, facing the Soča River and offering views of the Julian Alps through the large panoramic glass walls. The glazed panoramic walls extend over both floors of the houses. Views of the terrace and surroundings can be enjoyed from the living space or from the bed on the upper floor.
Together with the client and architects, we coordinated the implementation tailored to the requirements of very high thermal insulation needed in the Alpine region. The installation into the wooden structure had to be adapted, ensuring proper waterproofing, as winds during heavy rainfall can exceed 120 km/h.
