Hotel Heritage is one of the most prestigious boutique hotels in Ljubljana. In the center of Ljubljana, at Čevljarska 2, a more than 400-year-old townhouse was renovated. Over four centuries, many famous and mysterious owners have changed. The oldest gallery, the Ars Gallery, once operated on the ground floor.
After renovating the dilapidated building, a four-star family hotel with twenty rooms was created. The project was carried out in collaboration with the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage.
A special feature of the building is the implementation of a fire-resistant and insulating glass roof between the ground floor and the upper floor in the atrium. This connects to the structural facade over the entire height of the atrium. The glazed dormers offer a view of the castle and the old part of Ljubljana.
A very demanding project, with numerous details and various materials, was successfully completed and handed over to the client.
